Facilities

We provide furniture, equipment and toys that are appropriate for the age range and abilities of the children that helps to create an accessible and stimulating environment. All resources are suitable in design and condition, well maintained and conform to safety standards.

Settling In

We recognise that all children have different needs and will take different length of time to settle into the nursery. We are preliminary visits, prior to admission where parents/carers are welcome to stay. If your child has a comforter i.e. (special toy etc), please feel free to bring it along with you until your child has settled. The Nursery cannot however be responsible for loss or damage to toys brought form home. We ask you not to bring toys that promote violent, racist or sexist attitudes e.g. guns, power rangers. On admission your child will be given a named peg for his/her possessions. If you wish to supply spare clothes from home these can be left in a named bag on his/her peg. You will also be given a named pigeonhole where newsletters and notices may be collected.

A newsletter is written monthly and there are between two to three parents evenings a year. Parent/Carers are welcome to join us at any time to play with the children, join us on outings, give talks to the children about your work, culture and lifestyle etc.
